What About Standards?

When I grew up, there were standards… in the house, in school and in the neighborhood.  These standards are what made me what I am today.  In the house certain behaviors were demanded of me, in school, measurable results were expected of me, and in the neighborhood, you had to compete.  No exceptions!  One leads to the other.  No demands at home, no results at school, no way to compete in the neighborhood.  No standards or low standards can not work.  The home, school and neighborhood, deserve more.

Bill O’Reilly Harvey Levin, Geraldo Rivera, on and on…. I can’t believe what I see on these shows. Is it You Tube or news?   Now, TMZ is one thing but, it is on Fox. However, there are times I watch O’Reilly and expect him to spontaneously sprout a handle bar mustache. Maybe a 24 hour news cycle isn’t necessary, because after the first hour it just becomes a mindless analysis of unconfirmed minutia and video reruns. 

After all these years, has anyone checked Geraldo’s mustache for Al Capone’s loot?
